The press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office reported that an illegal drug store has been identified. This was reported by Upl.uz.
During an operation conducted by the employees of the Yozyovon district department, it was found that the pharmacy located in the Yozyovon neighborhood citizens' assembly, belonging to LLC "D.X.", was operating without a license. A total of 24,723 various medicinal products were seized from this pharmacy, with a total value of 154.3 million soums.
According to experts' conclusions, four types of medicinal products sold in this pharmacy are prohibited for use within the territory of Uzbekistan. A criminal case has been initiated based on the article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding "the production, acquisition, storage, transportation, or sale of poor-quality or counterfeit medicinal products, as well as the realization of medicinal products without pharmacies and their branches, and the violation of the regulations for the retail sale of medicinal products containing potent substances."
Investigative actions are ongoing by law enforcement agencies.
