In Tashkent, doctors removed 135 magnetic balls from the stomach of a 2-year-old girl

At the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care in Tashkent, 135 magnetic balls were removed from the belly of a 2-year-old girl. This case was confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
It was reported that the girl swallowed the magnetic balls while playing with them. After some time, the balls accumulated in her belly, putting the child's life at risk. Her parents urgently contacted the Republican Emergency Medical Center in the Fergana region. During examinations, it was determined that the magnets had accumulated in the child's belly.
Initially, the doctors opted for conservative treatment and managed to remove 14 balls through vomiting. However, the majority remained inside. Later, the girl was brought to Tashkent and underwent emergency surgery.
During the operation, in a challenging 4.5-hour process, experienced doctors – Professor Habibulla Oqilov, Nozim Ormonov, and Dilmurod Sabirov – removed 135 magnetic balls from the girl's belly.
