Two citizens in Yangiyo‘l destroyed 52 pigeons

The Ministry of Ecology reports that the Tashkent region's Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change conducted another monitoring event aimed at protecting wildlife. During the raid conducted in the Yangiyo‘l district, it was discovered that citizens N.R. and N.S. illegally hunted 52 pigeons.

A damage of 19 million 500 thousand soums was inflicted on nature. An administrative report was formalized against the offenders in accordance with part 4 of Article 90 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.

Documents are being sent to the Yangiyo‘l district court for a legal assessment of the situation.

According to the law on "Hunting and Hunting Economy," the hunting season is closed from March 1 to August 15 of this year. During this time, hunting wild animals and birds is strictly prohibited.
