According to the information provided by the Hydrometeorological Service Agency, precipitation is expected in some areas from March 20 to 25 of this year, along with a sharp change in air temperature.
For this reason, in the mountainous regions of the republic, including:
- Kashkadarya region: Dehqonobod, Kitob, Qamashi, Shahrisabz districts;
- Surxondaryo region: Boysun, Qumqo‘rg‘on, Sariosiyo, Uzun districts;
- Samarkand region: Nurobod, Qo‘shrabot, Samarkand, Urgut districts;
- Jizzakh region: Baxmal, Zomin districts;
- Tashkent region: Bo‘stonliq, Ohangaron, and Parkent districts (Chotqol ridge);
- In Namangan region, in the Pop district, the risk of snow avalanches is announced.
Citizens living in foothill and mountainous areas, vacationers, and drivers moving in mountainous areas are requested to take precautionary measures.
