Zelensky said he is ready to negotiate with Russia for an energy peace.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky officially announced that Kyiv is ready to begin negotiations with Moscow on a peace agreement in the energy sector. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Speaking to journalists on March 30, the President emphasized that if Russia halts its attacks on Ukraine's energy system, Kyiv will also cease targeting Russian infrastructure. Zelensky further stated that both sides are open to discussing a complete ceasefire, which would include ending all missile and drone strikes.
According to the Ukrainian leader, recent strikes on Russian oil facilities were a direct response to Moscow's attacks. However, due to the escalating global energy crisis, some international partners have urged Ukraine to reduce such operations.
This crisis has intensified further due to the conflict between the United States and Israel involving Iran. As a result, US President Donald Trump was forced to temporarily ease some sanctions imposed on Russian oil exports.
Despite ongoing delays in negotiations, Zelensky has not lost faith in the diplomatic process. He dismissed claims that US-mediated trilateral peace talks have reached a dead end.
The President noted that the primary reason for the delay of the meeting, originally planned to be held in Turkey at the beginning of March, was Washington's focus on the situation in Iran. Nevertheless, Ukraine confirmed its readiness to hold negotiations at any location outside of Russia or Belarus.
