
The decree No. UP-126 adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 4, 2025, aims to improve labor relations and incentivize employers. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The press service of the Ministry of Justice announced this. The main tasks outlined in the decree include creating fair and mutually beneficial labor relations between workers and employers, as well as forming a system that helps employers find qualified employees that meet their actual needs.
Starting from September 1, 2025, the following changes will come into effect: the administrative responsibility imposed on employers for refusing to hire candidates recommended by employment centers will be abolished; additionally, the procedure for mandatory reporting on the availability of vacant positions will be canceled. These measures aim to enhance efficiency in the labor market.
