The press service of the Jizzakh region Internal Affairs Department reported that it has been identified that narcotic plants are being cultivated. This was reported by Upl.uz.
In cooperation with the employees of the internal affairs bodies and representatives of the State Security Service, a special operational event was held in the Gallaorol district of Jizzakh region. During the event, the territory of the enterprise belonging to "T.A.S." LLC, located in the Bulokboshi neighborhood, was inspected.
As a result of the inspection, 23 cannabis plants were found. During the investigation of this case, it was revealed that the security guard of the enterprise was engaged in planting and caring for these narcotic plants.
He was born in 1971 and lives in the Toshmasjid neighborhood of the Kiziltepa district of Navoi region. A criminal case has been initiated under the first part of the article "Cultivation of prohibited cultural plants" of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding this case.
The suspect may face a penalty of up to three years of imprisonment.
