According to the press service of the State Security Service, three girls have been arrested for reviewing and distributing banned extremist materials. This was reported by Upl.uz.
It has been determined that these girls, born in 2004-2006, were under the influence of promoters of international terrorist organizations. One of them found banned content on the "YouTube" platform, created her own Telegram channel, and shared materials filled with radical ideas with her friends.
The second girl, influenced by the promoters, covered her head and got acquainted with an unknown person through "TikTok," from whom she received extremist content. Due to this influence, she developed the idea of going to Syria.
The third offender became engrossed in radical ideas through "YouTube," wanted to wear a hijab, and distributed extremist materials on social networks. Currently, these three girls are being considered as defendants during the trial and are awaiting their sentences.
This case once again highlights the importance of combating extremism in our country. Public cooperation is necessary to protect parents and youth from such negative influences.
