During the monitoring activities conducted by the staff of the Tashkent region Uzenergoinspektsiya, it was found that the residents of the Tashkent district had illegally connected to the gas supply. This individual used a rubber hose to connect to supply gas to their kitchen voluntarily.
According to preliminary calculations, this illegal action has caused 799 million soums in damage to the gas supply organization. Relevant documents regarding this case have been formalized and sent to the investigative authorities.
Under Article 165, part four (theft) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the offender may face a penalty of up to 15 years of imprisonment. Initial investigative actions are being carried out regarding this case.
