
Information was provided by the press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office that the sale of drugs without quality assurance has been stopped. This was reported by Upl.uz.
A special rapid operation was conducted by employees of the Angren city Prosecutor's Department in cooperation with representatives of the Tashkent region customs department. During the operation, M.O.
the pharmacist of a limited liability company was found to be illegally selling a drug called "Al’bureks 100 ml" and was detained. There were no documents confirming the quality and origin of this drug.
The offender attempted to sell 300 units of the drug to a customer, receiving 31,400 US dollars and 52 million soms in return. A criminal case was initiated under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan related to violations of requirements for the quality of drugs and medical products, their illegal production, storage, transportation, and sale, as well as violations of the rules established for the sale of prescription strong-acting substances.
Legal measures are being taken, and efforts to prevent such incidents are ongoing.
