In the Asaka district, officials from two limited liability companies colluded to obtain project documents for drilling and repairing artesian wells using budget funds for the purpose of irrigating citizens' garden plots.

Initially, although the first well was drilled, before the second well was completed, the well drilled by a local farming enterprise was falsified as newly drilled in the documents. Additionally, 120 million soums were embezzled through the misappropriation of budget funds.

Regarding this situation, the Marhamat district court has imposed a corrective labor sentence on one of the offenders and a criminal fine on another.

Currently, the Asaka district department of the Enforcement Bureau has ensured the collection of 30 million soums in criminal fines from the responsible person, which will be transferred to the state budget.
