According to the Karakalpakstan Emergency Situations Department, two people were injured as a result of the explosion of a truck's fuel tank in the Tortkul district.
It was reported that on March 21, around 13:50, an explosion occurred while welding the fuel tank of a MAN truck in a workshop located in the Guliston neighborhood of the Tortkul district.
As a result, the MAN and Ford vehicles were completely damaged, and the rear tires of a DAF vehicle were damaged by fire. Two citizens, born in 1998 and 1980, residing in the Tortkul district, sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalized in the district medical association.
“There are no deceased citizens. The fire has been completely extinguished. Material damage will be determined during the investigation,” the report states.
