
Cases of taking money for employment in Latvia are being identified, reports the press service of the State Security Service. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Special rapid operations were conducted by officers of the State Security Service. During the operations, a person born in 1991, residing in Oltinkul district, Andijan region, was detained.
He registered a limited liability company and provided consulting services to citizens wishing to work abroad. Through social networks, he established trust with four people living in Khazorasp district, Khorezm region, promising to assist them in preparing documents for employment in Latvia.
In return, he demanded 10,000 US dollars. The criminal was caught in Urgench city while receiving the demanded money.
Similarly, another person born in 1997 from Angren city, Tashkent region, gained the trust of three citizens from Andijan region and promised to help them formalize documents for employment in Latvia. He asked for 8,250 US dollars for his services and was detained while receiving an advance payment of 2,100 dollars.
In both cases, criminal proceedings have been initiated and investigative actions are underway. These cases are under strict control to protect citizens from fraud and prevent illegal activities.
The State Security Service advises citizens to seek employment only through official channels.
