On August 22, 2024, at approximately 13:30, the Tashkent City Emergency Department received a report about a fire starting in paper waste and dry grass in an open area. The incident occurred in the "Chortok" neighborhood of the Yangihayot district in Tashkent city.
Within four minutes, fire and rescue services arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire. At 13:52, the fire was brought under control, and by 14:16 it was completely extinguished.
A total of eight fire-rescue teams actively participated in extinguishing the fire. It was also emphasized that reports about a fire at the "Tashkent Index" shopping complex were not accurate.
