
The press service of the Department under the Prosecutor General's Office announced that cases of illegal electricity consumption have been identified. This was reported by Upl.uz.
During an inspection conducted by the Angren city department employees, it was found that officials of the landscaping department had externally interfered with the electricity consumption measuring device of the transformer in Gulzor neighborhood. This transformer was used as a street light.
As a result, a total damage of 289 million soums was caused. Additionally, in the Urtachirchiq district, two citizens living in the Yangiobod and Yorik neighborhoods were found to have connected their homes to the electrical network without permission, causing a total damage of 159.8 million soums.
In both cases, criminal proceedings have been initiated and investigative actions are underway. These incidents demonstrate the ongoing fight against illegal use of electricity.
Law enforcement agencies are taking strict measures against such cases. Compliance with legality and order in electricity consumption is the duty of every citizen.
