
From January to June 2025, 68 new schools were put into operation in Uzbekistan. This was reported by Upl.uz.
These data were obtained from the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Among the newly opened schools, 34 are located in rural areas, reflecting efforts to develop education outside major cities.
Andijan region leads in school construction, with 35 new educational institutions launched there. Following Andijan, Bukhara region ranks second with 19 schools, Khorezm region with 7, and Namangan region with 6 schools.
In Karakalpakstan, 1 new school was put into operation. These figures are the result of state policy aimed at improving educational infrastructure and expanding educational opportunities across regions.
The increase in the number of schools plays an important role in ensuring that the younger generation receives quality education. At the same time, the growth of educational institutions in rural areas positively impacts the socio-economic development of the regions.
Funds allocated by the state to the education sector are being used effectively, and the construction of new schools will continue in the future. This will contribute to further strengthening Uzbekistan's education system.
