GTA 5 game was successfully launched on the iPhone 17 Pro Max smartphone

A technology enthusiast known by the pseudonym mertbaris01 on the social network Reddit managed to launch the game Grand Theft Auto V on Apple’s latest iPhone 17 Pro Max smartphone. One.uz reports.
This complex process was carried out using specialized XeniOS software designed for the Xbox 360 game console. This experiment not only demonstrates the high technical capabilities of modern mobile devices but also highlights the difficulties in adapting computer games for smartphones.
Currently, the power of mobile processors is increasing year by year, but porting high-graphic games from other platforms still requires significant resources. During tests conducted on the iPhone 17 Pro Max device, the game image was displayed at a resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels.
Technical specifications and gameplay Although the experiment was successfully completed, several technical shortcomings emerged that users should pay attention to.
During gameplay, the frame rate averaged 19–20 frames per second.
This figure dropped to 12 frames per second in graphically complex and resource-intensive scenes, such as flying a helicopter over the city. Such low performance hinders smooth gameplay and causes discomfort for the user.
Furthermore, significant heating of the smartphone body was observed as a result of prolonged heavy loads. According to experts, this low performance was not due to the weakness of the Apple A19 Pro processor, but rather because the software used is not yet perfect.
Since the XeniOS software is currently in the testing phase, it cannot fully and efficiently utilize the device's resources. Future possibilities and conclusions At this stage, it is not possible to enjoy playing GTA 5 on this smartphone, as image stuttering and device heating negatively affect the quality of the game.
Nevertheless, this result represents an important step demonstrating the huge potential of mobile platforms. In the future, further refinement and optimization of the software may make it possible to run this game stably on mobile devices.
Such experiments indicate that the gap between smartphones and game consoles will narrow even further in the near future.
