
The press service of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office announced that the spread of fake herbal medicines has been stopped. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Employees of the Yunusobod district department and the State Security Service jointly conducted a special rapid operation. During the operation, two criminals were detained.
They purchased an unknown substance in 1000 packages from Namangan region, prepared it in the form of the popular "Torpedo" herbal powder with fake QR codes on the packaging, and later sold it. This product is produced by "D.I." LLC.
The criminals earned 120 million soums from selling this substance. A criminal case was initiated under the articles of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on "Fraud" and "Preparation, forgery, sale or use of documents, stamps, seals, blanks".
Investigations regarding this case are ongoing. At the same time, citizens are advised to be cautious towards fake medicines and herbal products.
Law enforcement agencies continue to maintain strict control over such crimes.
