According to Government Resolution No. 543 dated August 28 of this year, service housing provided to employees of internal affairs bodies and pensioners will be privatized. With this decision, some employees and pensioners who received service housing will gain ownership rights to their homes.
Persons entitled to privatize service housing include: pensioners who served in internal affairs bodies until July 4, 2022, who are eligible for a pension or were dismissed from service due to medical reasons or disability; as well as their spouses and family members who do not have personal housing. Additionally, family members of deceased pensioners, including spouses, children, and dependents, who do not have personal housing, will also have the right to privatize.
Moreover, family members of internal affairs employees, namely the spouses, children, and dependents of deceased employees, if they do not have personal housing, will have the opportunity to privatize service housing. This measure is an important step aimed at strengthening the social protection of internal affairs employees and their families and addressing their housing issues.
Through the privatization of service housing, pensioners and their families will be ensured stable living conditions.
