According to the press service of Namangan region, a wanted criminal has been arrested. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Law enforcement officers conducted rapid search operations. During these operations, an individual born in 2004, residing in Guliston neighborhood of the new Namangan district in Davlatobod district of Namangan region, was detained.
It was found that this person is suspected under Article 131, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, namely for having sexual intercourse with a person under sixteen years of age. The criminal may face imprisonment from 8 to 10 years.
Currently, the detained individual has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Namangan regional Internal Affairs Department. Investigative actions regarding the criminal case are ongoing.
