The flow of tourists from France has increased, reports the press service of the State Statistics Committee. This was reported by Upl.uz.
According to the Committee's data, from January to July of this year, 15.2 thousand French citizens visited Uzbekistan. Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 3.1 thousand people or 25.2 percent.
During this period, the purposes of French citizens coming to Uzbekistan were distributed as follows: 13,855 people for tourism, 703 people to visit relatives, 591 people on business trips, 43 people for education, and 17 people for entrepreneurial activities. These data show the main purposes of French tourists visiting our country.
Overall, the increase in the number of tourists coming from France confirms the rapid development of Uzbekistan's tourism sector.
