A gas explosion occurred in a mosque located in the Izboskan district of Andijan region. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
It was reported that a spark from a mixture of air and gas occurred in one of the mosques located in the "Mirzo Ulug‘bek" neighborhood of Izboskan district, and the Andijan regional emergency services received a notification about it. The regional governor Shuhratbek Abdurahmonov, along with all responsible officials, arrived at the scene, and the situation is now fully under control.
According to initial reports, 6 citizens have sustained injuries. Further information will be provided.
