Employees of the Uzbek Consulate General held negotiations with Lyudmila Bezzubkina, the CEO of Edelweiss LLC, a company operating in the construction and fish and seafood production sectors in Russia's Primorsky region.
Lyudmila Bezzubkina provided information about more than 10 residential and business centers that have been built and commissioned by the company to date, as well as residential complexes currently under construction. Additionally, the operation of the company's large fish and seafood production plant in the Kamchatka region was introduced.
“Currently, we are exporting fish and seafood to several foreign countries. The company plans to establish direct imports of household appliances, textiles, carpets, fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, and other products from your country to the Primorsky region while exporting fish and seafood to Uzbekistan. Working together with Uzbek partners in this direction will be mutually beneficial,” she said.
During the conversation, the possibilities of employing Uzbek citizens at the fish and seafood production plant owned by the company were also discussed. The Russian side confirmed its readiness to legally provide employment for Uzbek citizens and to cooperate with relevant organizations.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed that the company representatives would organize a business mission to Uzbekistan to discuss new projects in labor migration and economic sectors.
