A 14-year-old girl committed suicide by jumping from the 8th floor in Samarkand

A video showing a 14-year-old girl in Samarkand committing suicide by jumping from the 8th floor has spread on social media. This incident was reported by Hayot Shamsutdinov, head of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.

It has been reported that on January 13, around 5:30 PM, M.R., a minor born in 2010 and a student of the 8th grade at School No. 29, who lived in the Saxovat neighborhood of Samarkand region, jumped from the window of the corridor on the 8th floor of a multi-story building located in the Bahor neighborhood.

Investigative work is being carried out by the Samarkand city prosecutor's office regarding the incident.

A forensic medical examination has been appointed to study the details of the incident, and a service inspection is being conducted by the responsible authorities.
