“I have a family, I have not been previously convicted. A guy came to me and asked for help in installing a transformer point. I explained the procedure to him… He brought 10 thousand dollars. I was caught at that moment,” said the chief engineer of the district electricity supply department.
Another suspect, an electrician, stated that they had asked for 15 thousand dollars to install the transformer point. This included “services” such as bringing a transformer for 6 thousand dollars and carrying out project work for 9 thousand dollars.
