The blessed month of Ramadan in 2025 will begin on March 1. This information was announced in a presidential decree presented by the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan.

According to the decree, measures will be taken to conduct the month of Ramadan in accordance with national traditions and values.

“In this virtuous month, based on the idea that 'Ramadan is the month of generosity, unity, and tolerance':
  • support initiatives to help those in need and young people seeking knowledge;
  • strengthen family ties, enhance mutual understanding and trust in communities, and promote the values of respect and compassion;
  • pay special attention to protecting the environment, improving sacred sites, pilgrimage places, and cemeteries, planting trees, and adhering to norms in events related to the month of Ramadan while avoiding extravagance,” the document states.
