A new mayor has been appointed to the Sirdaryo district of Sirdaryo region, according to the information service of the regional administration.

During an extraordinary session of the district council of people's deputies, the candidacy of Azizbek Turdimurodov Maxammatqul ogli was approved for the position of district mayor by the deputies. He previously served as the head of the Youth Affairs Agency of Sirdaryo region.

Azizbek Turdimurodov was born in 1994 in the Boyovut district of Sirdaryo region. He graduated from the Tashkent University of Information Technologies in 2019 and the Institute for the Study of Youth Issues and Training of Promising Personnel in 2022. He has a specialization in information technologies and services, as well as project management.
