
The State Security Service has introduced a set of modern drones in the border troops. This was reported by Upl.uz.
Additionally, plans are underway to establish mass production of drones in the country. In the context of global changes and increasing threats, the use of drones is being recognized as an important part of the security system.
Under the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, large-scale reforms aimed at strengthening defense capabilities are being implemented. In this process, reinforcing the border troops with drone units is one of the key directions, significantly enhancing the reliability of protecting the state border.
Special simulators are being used to train drone operators, fully simulating real combat conditions. Various scenarios, including border control, aerial reconnaissance, convoy monitoring, and detecting and tracking violations, are practiced.
Currently, work is ongoing to establish a centralized center for drone management in the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan. The main tasks of this center will be to plan combat training and control the flights of drones, ensuring centralized and effective management.
According to Albert Hamzin, the director of IT-park innovations, mass production of drones will be established in the country, and software and technologies will be fully localized. This will contribute to the further development of the national defense industry.
