
Significant changes are being made in the public transport sector in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The city's official authorities are planning to install more than 2000 modern bus stops. These stops will be equipped with the latest technologies.
According to the city administration, the new stops will feature an online schedule showing bus arrival times, video surveillance cameras, automated ticket vending machines, and emergency signal buttons. In particular, the stops will be conveniently adapted for individuals with disabilities.
This project aims to enhance convenience and safety for passengers, as well as to modernize and make public transport more efficient. The quality of service in the transport sector for the city's residents will significantly improve.
This will make movement within the city easier and encourage the use of public transport.
