From January to May 2025, the number of tourists arriving in Uzbekistan from Italy significantly increased, reaching 17,400 people. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This data was provided by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This figure indicates an increase of 2,100 people or 13.5 percent compared to the same period last year.
The main purpose of the tourists is to explore our country's rich cultural heritage and unique attractions. In the first five months of 2025, the distribution of Italian citizens based on their travel purposes was as follows: 16,410 people for tourism, 530 people for visiting relatives, 400 people for business trips, and 43 people for education entered Uzbekistan.
