The press service of the Jizzakh region Internal Affairs Department reported that a case of large-scale storage of narcotic substances was detected in the Arnasoy district. This was reported by Upl.uz.
During an operational-preventive measure conducted by the internal affairs officers, a suspicious citizen was stopped and checked. The personal inspection of the citizen was carried out in the presence of witnesses.
As a result of the inspection, it was found that a citizen born in 1972, residing in the "Paxtakor" neighborhood of the Paxtakor district in Jizzakh region, had 11 kilograms and 525 grams of narcotic substance – marijuana – in his possession. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident, and investigative actions are currently underway.
The internal affairs agencies are maintaining constant control over the fight against narcotic substances. Citizens are requested to be active in preventing violations of the law.
