Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Imam Bukhari mausoleum in Samarkand
Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Imam Bukhari mausoleum in Samarkand
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Samarkand on March 22 and paid a visit to the Imam Bukhari mausoleum. The Quran was recited, and prayers were offered. – Yesterday, we celebrated the Navruz holiday with our people. Today, during the holy month of Ramadan, we are here at this blessed place. We express our gratitude to the Creator for bringing us to these great days in peace and tranquility. May our homeland always be peaceful, and our nation prosperous, and may all our good intentions come true. We are constructing this complex in a worthy manner for our ancestor Imam Bukhari. May it serve as a place of enlightenment, education, and inspiration, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It is noted that a new complex is being built here, covering a total area of 44 hectares. Currently, a magnificent mausoleum and a mosque designed for 10,000 people have been completed. Four towers, each 75 meters high, add grandeur to the complex. Additionally, a museum, porticoes, administration, and service buildings have been constructed. At the moment, decorative works are underway, utilizing national traditions and warm colors. Hadiths from "Sahih Bukhari" will be inscribed on the porticoes and the walls of the porticoes. Moreover, more than twenty hotels with a capacity of two thousand, parks, and four ablution facilities will be built in the area. This year, the 1155th anniversary of Imam Moturidi's birth will be widely celebrated in Uzbekistan. The presidential decree regarding this states that the restoration and improvement of the complex of the Sultan of the science of Kalam in Samarkand is planned. During the visit, the project was presented to the president. It is noted that the Moturidi complex will include a congregational mosque designed for 1,500 people and an administrative building. There will be a library, a conference hall, an innovative museum, and rooms for specialists. Near the complex, a parking lot and an ablution facility will be constructed for visitors. Imam Abu Mansur Moturidi lived during a time when disputes in the Islamic world were rampant, and various sects proliferated, dedicating his entire life to defending Islamic beliefs and spreading knowledge. His teachings of Moturidism, along with works such as "Ta'vilotul Quran" and "Kitab at-Tawhid," have become the spiritual foundations of the Sunni community based on the principles of tolerance and moderation. The head of state emphasized that these principles remain relevant today and gave instructions to further study and promote the legacy of the scholar and to expand the facilities for visitors to the complex. Another good project is aimed at improving the Mahdumi Azam pilgrimage site in the Oqdaryo district. The Sufi scholar, who was originally born in the present-day Kosonsoy district, was one of the leaders of the Naqshbandi teaching. After a long journey in the pursuit of knowledge and religion, he settled permanently in the Samarkand region. Many pilgrims also come to this site. To improve conditions for them, a three-story parking lot and an ablution facility are planned to be built next to the Mahdumi Azam mausoleum. Other scholars and thinkers who emerged from the land of Samarkand, as well as the footsteps of revered saints, will also be gradually restored and improved.

They celebrated the Eastern New Year by reciting poetry in Uzbek. The EU ambassador to Uzbekistan, Toyvo Klaar, not only recited poetry but also accompanied it with a musical performance. In his presentation, he promoted the kobiz instrument and illuminated the essence of this ancient word. The poem recited by the diplomats included the following lines: From the warmth of the motherland, a bud blooms, Flowers sing songs and spread their scents, As the leaves clap, the children take flight, May your Navruz holiday be blessed! It is becoming a good tradition for EU diplomats to send greetings in Uzbek as a sign of respect for the host country. Previously, a similar video greeting was sent on October 21, in celebration of Uzbek Language Day.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Navruz holiday
Shavkat Mirziyoyev delivered a speech at the Navruz celebrations taking place in the New Uzbekistan Park on March 21, congratulating the people of Uzbekistan on the holiday. The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, spoke at a ceremonial event dedicated to the Navruz national holiday. The congratulatory speech was published by the presidential press service. "We express our endless gratitude to the Creator for welcoming this radiant day peacefully and calmly with our homeland. This year's Navruz, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan and in harmony with its blessed virtues, brings a special spirit, unique grace, and joy to the celebration. On such blessed days filled with joy, we once again congratulate our faithful Muslims and the entire Islamic community on the holy month of Ramadan, wishing for all our pure intentions to be fulfilled. We sincerely congratulate our compatriots living abroad with the love and longing for their motherland," said the president. It has been noted that Navruz has always received special attention due to its unparalleled spiritual significance in the 3,000-year history of statehood. The scientific, historical, and artistic works written about this invaluable holiday are so numerous that they rightfully have become immortal treasures of our national heritage. "It is truly miraculous that our people have preserved this holiday with its noble nature and values even during difficult and challenging times throughout the centuries. The unique beauty of Navruz, its spirit of humanity, and profound philosophy continue to amaze all of humanity even in the era of globalization, demonstrating its eternal essence and life-giving power. Especially, the noble qualities of harmony between humans and nature, the desire for creativity, diligence and determination, mutual cooperation, kindness, and generosity are vividly manifested in the symbol of Navruz. During the Navruz days, our hardworking farmers think about our sustenance and the blessings of our table, giving their love to the motherland, and firmly tying their belts with the intention of obtaining a bountiful harvest. In this sense, the words of our great ancestor Mir Alisher Navoi, "The farmer who sows seeds opens the way to sustenance by cultivating the land," embody profound life meaning. In such spring moments, where the joy of labor and creativity, awakening and renewal is increasingly growing in our hearts, we express special respect to our hardworking farmers, gardeners, and livestock breeders," said the head of state. It has been reported that today, significant steps are being taken in the country to elevate human dignity, strengthen the principles of social justice, and improve the income and living standards of the population. "In our country, many modern industrial complexes, infrastructure and logistics networks, and roads are being built. The business, IT, and tourism sectors are rapidly developing. Thousands of new buildings and homes, kindergartens and schools, universities, hospitals, cultural and sports facilities are being constructed. The appearance of our cities and villages, and our entire homeland is becoming increasingly beautiful and prosperous. Within the framework of the "Green Space" national project, a new ecological environment is being created in our region. Every year, the planting of millions of seedlings, the establishment of green parks, the preservation of wildlife, and the efficient use of every inch of land are becoming an integral part of our daily lives. I am confident that the large-scale work within the framework of the "Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy" state program will elevate these processes to an even higher level," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It has been emphasized that today, those managing high-tech enterprises in the country are mainly educated and skilled youth. "The intelligent, energetic, and entrepreneurial young men and women are also giving new strength and momentum to the development of entrepreneurship. The soldiers and officers who are always vigilant at our borders are brave and courageous sons. Those who are promoting our homeland in the fields of science, culture, literature, and art are also the youth. In particular, our young athletes have a special place and contribution in making our homeland famous worldwide. May this vibrant generation, worthy of our people in every way, be honored! Dear children, the time has come for you to shine as bright stars in the sky of our homeland. In this noble pursuit, the thinkers born in this Navruz season, such as Abduxoliq Gijduvoniy, Bahouddin Naqshband, Mirzo Ulughbek, Zulfiya, Ozod Sharafiddinov, and Abdulla Oripov, serve as true role models for you. Strive tirelessly to turn the unique opportunities in our homeland into practical results! Wherever you are, in whatever field you work, be worthy and loyal to our national values, our identity, and our homeland! Never forget that behind you stands a great nation of nearly 38 million, with the President. May fortune and success always be with you!" - said the president. It is noted that the unique charm and allure of Navruz is primarily expressed in the folk celebrations and holiday festivities taking place in nearly nine and a half thousand neighborhoods. The role and influence of the neighborhood system, which embodies ancient traditions and modern values, is increasingly growing. Especially, the fact that various problems and issues are being resolved within the neighborhood itself significantly enhances the people's participation and effectiveness of reforms. Important tasks such as youth education, ensuring tranquility, reducing poverty, engaging the population in entrepreneurship, social protection, and enhancing the activity of women are being effectively addressed through the neighborhood system. "It is known that this year, elections for neighborhood chairpersons will be held in our country. I believe that our people will vote for dedicated and patriotic compatriots in this responsible process. The comprehensive development of neighborhoods will continue to be at the center of our attention. Taking this opportunity, I sincerely congratulate all our compatriots and neighborhood activists on the Day of Neighborhood System Employees, which will be widely celebrated tomorrow, March 22, wishing them great success in their honorable activities," said the head of state. Navruz has always been a clear symbol of the people's loyalty to national and universal values, secular state principles, and the ideas of tolerance, true friendship, and cooperation. This holiday has become a beloved, truly national celebration for all ethnicities and nations in the country. "In these joyful moments, I want to address our entire nation: our strength lies in unity and solidarity, our power is in love and loyalty to the homeland, and our achievement is in our high confidence in ourselves! The recognition of Navruz as an international holiday by the United Nations brings us special satisfaction. Navruz is currently uniting all nations and peoples, including the peoples of Central Asia. Taking this opportunity, I warmly congratulate all the kind-hearted people living in our vast region on behalf of our nation. May our region, which is truly becoming a place of friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation, always be peaceful and flourish! In this regard, I want to address the respected intellectuals of our region, representatives of science, culture, art, and literature. Dear friends, if you create works that celebrate our ancient brotherhood, shared values and traditions, and noble aspirations with your unique talents and intellect, and contribute to educating our youth in this spirit, our peoples will undoubtedly be grateful to you. Such exemplary creative works will undoubtedly serve as a strong spiritual shield for our nations, especially for our younger generations, in today's turbulent times. I believe that the upcoming trilateral meeting of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan in the ancient city of Khojand at the end of this month will be another practical step in this direction," said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The mother let her husband into the house with their three children
The Bureau of Mandatory Enforcement of the Namangan Region and its territorial departments are taking appropriate measures to ensure the execution of non-property documents. The main focus is on ensuring that the parties fulfill the obligations specified in the court decision in a timely manner and on enhancing their legal culture in this regard. However, in some cases, due to the irresponsible approach of debtors to their obligations, the matter ultimately goes to mandatory enforcement actions. In particular, the Chust district department of the Bureau also ensured the execution of documents related to entering the house. It has been clarified that according to the decision of the Chust inter-district civil court dated January 6, 2025, the plaintiff M. S. was granted the right to use 2 rooms of the house in the Qoraqo‘rg‘on neighborhood citizens' assembly along with his 3 children. However, since the debtor did not fulfill the obligation within the enforcement period, enforcement actions were carried out. After the mandatory enforcement actions conducted in cooperation with the state executor and relevant organizations, the bride was allowed to enter the house with her children. Thus, the enforcement document was completed in practice.

Event management: the culture of celebration is strengthening...
Event management: the culture of celebration is strengthening...
Recently, wherever I look, there are events, celebrations, and gatherings. Just yesterday, when I went to the village, the same thing was happening there. One person says, "I just came in for a moment, we need to go to the 'talk' of the guests," while another mentions that his brother wants to host an iftar in two days. In various groups of "..." the same topic arises – I went to a guest at such and such a place, I'm having iftar, shouldn't we gather or do we have something to discuss? For now, weddings are on hold, but there are still months ahead when weddings will connect with each other. It seems that everyone has nothing left to do but walk from one event to another, from one tea house to another. It seems that living means your life revolves around events, celebrations, and hospitality. The intention of "May what we earn go to the weddings" actually seems like a good-natured "curse," as if we are spending not only our "cash" but also our time going from one event to another, from one wedding to another. When I first heard it, I was happy that many people were celebrating, having events, and gathering at the same time. But then I thought: is this tradition truly sincere hospitality, or has it already become part of a new culture called "the extravagance of the feast"? ("Cult" refers to the excessive idealization of a certain habit, tradition, or custom, even becoming a goal.) Our hospitality is a historical value, but what form has this value taken now? In the past, gatherings and iftars were held in a narrow circle, but now they have become widespread. For many, such events are turning into a means of demonstrating social status. "Which restaurant did you have iftar at?", "I hosted iftar for such and such a person," "Today I have a tea house," "I have three 'talks' this month," and if you check social media: "I enjoyed the 'pati' at such and such a place," these thoughts... Is it true hospitality or just show? These hospitable gestures often lead to social pressure. That is, do such feasts not reinforce the notion that "people are valued based on their extravagance"? Does the abundance of someone's table and the variety of their dishes determine a person's worth? Frankly, this is a serious question for our society, which has historically placed great importance on hospitality. It seems that instead of simplicity and sincerity, a culture of extravagance and waste is growing. For example, iftar is a time set aside for prayer, a period of spiritual purification. But if it simply turns into a large gathering and a lavish meal, how significant is it from a spiritual perspective? On one hand, these gatherings are good – people meet each other, communicate, and do not stay at home. However, this tradition seems to be turning into a formal obligation in some cases. If you go to a wedding, you must sit for at least three hours. If you don't, it will be said, "You didn't show respect." The issue of food at events In the past, the variety of dishes at gatherings was limited. Now, however, the types of food are increasing. We have lost the distinction between generosity and waste. We think that laying a large table and inviting many people is generosity, but isn't true generosity helping those in need? Moreover, don't you think this puts a strain on the family budget? Each gathering, birthday, tea house visit – these are significant expenses. If such events become excessive, a person may harm their financial stability. Some may find relaxation in this, but we don't even consider that it may cause stress and fatigue for others. Especially large events often become a heavy burden for housewives. The constant expectation of guests, the pressure to lay a large table, and the pursuit of an ideal appearance increase fatigue and anxiety. Artificiality instead of naturalness Previously, a modest table and sincerity were the most important. Now, extravagance, celebrations held in restaurants, and artificial decorations have become significant. What about the usual and identical scenarios? All events are repeating each other: the decorations, the food, even the conversations. In general, what kind of sincere conversation can there be at these events? If everyone keeps their head down at the table, and there is no environment for people to hear each other, with noise and the clattering of spoons and bowls, not to mention the issue of time. The benefits of dieting are absent While feasts can bring people together, they can also add extra weight to them. Most people do not think, "If I don't like it, I don't have to eat," when they go to a wedding or gathering, as it does not align with the culture of hospitality. No one dares to say "I'm not hungry" or "I'm on a diet." Moreover, at some events, there are so many fatty and sweet dishes that even someone who wants to diet cannot restrain themselves. Additionally, sitting for long periods and moving little at events can lead to obesity. At a place where you are a guest, you cannot walk around, jog, or exercise. Celebrations have moved to social media Previously, there was no way to announce that someone was going to visit someone else's home. Therefore, hospitality was less common. In the past, weddings, anniversaries, and various gatherings were only discussed within the family and neighborhood, but now they are widely spread through social media. Nowadays, if someone does not hold an event, it is perceived as a "shortcoming." Conversely, a person who does not talk about their event or celebration on social media may be seen as "not that important." For this reason, many people try to organize events not only because they want to but also to appear on social media. Just as the saying goes, "the melon takes its color from the melon," gatherings are taking place through these social networks. We find time for virtual friends from social networks even more than for relatives. If not, it’s okay if we don’t go... Are gatherings, tea houses, weddings, celebrations, and reasons to hold them not becoming excessively numerous? When will we find time to live or what does it mean to live?

The multi-storey building constructed on the land allocated for the crafts center is set to be demolished
Photo of the construction process of the 9-storey building: Kun.uz In Tashkent, a contentious situation has been ongoing for several years between craftsmen and "Turon Meros" LLC. The dispute is related to the construction of the Craftsmen Center in the Uchtepa district. The issue is that following the demolition of workshops belonging to craftsmen due to the construction of the Suzukota complex, a government meeting statement dated May 26, 2019, indicated the construction of the "Craftsmen's Alley" center on a 2.7-hectare plot located on Foziltepa Street in the Uchtepa district, as well as the allocation of rooms totaling 12,204 square meters for 52 craftsmen on the first floor of the building to be constructed as compensation for the destroyed properties of the craftsmen. However, after the construction of the 4-storey craftsmen's facility, which was supposed to be built in the Uchtepa district, began, it has turned into a "multi-storey" residential building. That is, although the documents provided for the construction of a 4-storey building in this area and the creation of all conditions for craftsmen to operate, a 9-storey building has started to be constructed by the investor in the area allocated for the Craftsmen Center. By the decision of the Uchtepa inter-district civil court dated October 25, 2024, the claim of the Tashkent city construction control inspection regarding the demolition of the illegally constructed building by "Turon Meros" LLC was satisfied. According to the court document, it was determined that the 9-storey building located at 178, Uchtepa district, should be demolished at the expense of "Turon Meros" LLC. The civil court panel of the Tashkent city court upheld the initial court decision unchanged by its ruling dated February 5, 2025. The case is currently under review in the appellate instance.

The Bureau of Mandatory Enforcement of the Andijan region, along with city and district departments, is carrying out a number of positive actions to protect the rights and interests of minors. In particular, alongside collecting material support from alimony-paying fathers for their children, assistance is also being provided to ensure their employment. One such event was organized on March 19 of this year in the city of Andijan, where a "Job Fair" was held for unemployed individuals who have been mandated by the court to pay alimony. This fair aimed to provide employment for unemployed fathers who are facing difficulties in paying the alimony set for their children, while also serving other unemployed citizens. Visitors to the event had the opportunity to learn about over 250 job vacancies offered by a total of 30 enterprises, organizations, and other state institutions. At the job fair, 42 alimony payers secured permanent jobs on the same day, 15 were given referrals, and the others were assisted in being registered as unemployed by the Employment Support Department.

A fraudster engaged in the coal business will pay a criminal fine of 51 million soums
A fraudster engaged in the coal business will pay a criminal fine of 51 million soums
It is known that in life, the commission of criminal acts is usually caused by someone's succumbing to temptation, indifference to the requirements of the law, and a lack of respect for the rights of others. The autumn-winter season is a time for people to ensure warmth, comfort, and family environment. During such times, the demand for coal increases, and many people buy it to heat their homes. However, the criminal schemes of Haidar and Khamid, who aimed to profit from this activity, were actually only focused on financial gain. As the manager of the coal warehouse, Haidar was supposed to supply coal to the population at preferential prices. However, he began to abuse this duty and, in collusion with his assistant Khamid, started a criminal "coal" business. But as our ancestors said: "The crooked deed will be revealed even after forty years." Their business did not last long. According to the decision of the Rishton district court regarding criminal cases, an enforcement document for Haidar to pay a criminal fine was received by the Margilan city department of the Bureau. As a result of the mandatory enforcement actions of the state executor, a criminal fine of 51 million soums was collected from the "coal" business.
