Burnley team's goalkeeper James Trafford has agreed to the offer from Manchester City. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Manchester City management sees the English goalkeeper as a potential candidate to replace Ederson, as Ederson is close to leaving the team. According to renowned journalist Nicolo Schira, a verbal agreement has been reached between Manchester City and James Trafford for a contract until 2030.
Currently, official negotiations are ongoing between Burnley and Manchester City. Manchester City may exercise their right to buy back their trained player for 46 million euros.
However, there is also a possibility that the club could persuade Burnley to sell the 22-year-old goalkeeper for a lower price. James Trafford played in 45 matches last season, conceding 16 goals, and also kept his goal intact 29 times.
These statistics confirm that he is a highly reliable goalkeeper. An official announcement will be made once the agreement between the club and the player is finalized.
