Makhachkala "Dinamo" team defender Idar Shumaxov shared his thoughts in an exclusive interview with "Yevro-Futbol.ru" regarding the loss against "Spartak," the need to strengthen the team with Anton Zabolotniy, and more. Euro-football.ru reported on this.
“Four of our goals were not counted in the match against Spartak. They asked if you thought there was a possibility of a rematch in this situation.
Idar Shumaxov said he certainly hoped so. When the score was 0:1, anything was possible, but the game was very difficult.
He emphasized that he had never experienced a situation where four goals were not counted in a single match during his career. This indicates that they played well on the field.
He also expressed full trust in the referee's decisions. The "Spartak" team is dissatisfied with the referee's decision and plans to appeal.
Shumaxov referred to this as their business, but stated that he does not know whether "Spartak" won the game and whether there is any point in the appeal. When asked about the team's results this season, Shumaxov emphasized that he hopes to occupy high positions and strives to show good results in upcoming matches.
Although the squad has not been strengthened, the team players see their good understanding of each other as a positive aspect. However, he mentioned that the arrival of new players would benefit the team by increasing competition and providing options for the coach.
The team that successfully played against "Spartak" last season accepted its first defeat this season. "Spartak," on the other hand, prepared the team better and played much more organized from the first minutes.
Shumaxov noted that there are no significant changes in the team lineup. Regarding "Spartak's" only new player Anton Zabolotniy, he said that he is a good player, and although many questioned his necessity, he is a high-level forward who has greatly helped the team, especially in aerial play.
When asked if someone might show unexpected results this season, Shumaxov praised "Baltika's" strong performance, emphasizing that their team spirit is similar to "Dinamo's." He also stated that his team will strive to show unexpected results and aim for high positions.
There is a game ahead against "Orenburg." According to some opinions, "Orenburg" is considered the weakest team since it was formed for the FNL.
Idar Shumaxov disagreed, stating that there are no weak teams in the RPL, the game will be difficult, especially playing away and on artificial turf.
