The Moscow "Lokomotiv" club is planning to extend contracts with three players in the near future. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was reported by the "Championat" publication, citing a source familiar with the situation. Negotiations are being considered regarding midfielder Dmitriy Barinov, defender Lukas Fassone, and goalkeeper Ilya Lantratov.
It should be noted that the contract with Fassone is valid until next summer. Additionally, the agreements with Barinov and Lantratov will expire on June 30.
Lantratov has lost his place in the main squad. Earlier, there were reports that the Russian Ministry of Sports was planning to impose restrictions on the number of foreign players.
According to this, there can be 10 foreign players in the team, and their number on the field should not exceed 5. These changes are expected to impact the development of Russian football.
