The Moscow "Spartak" team is close to strengthening its midfield. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Turkish journalist Serjan Dikme, the "red-whites" have reached an agreement with "Beşiktaş" for the transfer of Portuguese midfielder Jedson Fernandes. Dikme confirmed in an interview with "Sport-Express" that a contract signing between the club and the player is imminent.
Previously, it was reported that two prestigious Russian teams — "Zenit" and "Spartak" — offered 25 million euros for the 26-year-old player. However, "Beşiktaş" demanded 30 million euros.
Last season, Jedson Fernandes played in 34 matches in the Super League, managing to score 7 goals. This transfer will serve to strengthen Spartak's central line and help improve the team's results in the upcoming season.
