The head coach of the "Orenburg" team, Vladimir Slishkovich, shared his thoughts after the match against "Rubin." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team's performance was not bad and was much better compared to the match against "Makhachkala" last week. Slishkovich emphasized that when the players followed the game plan, very dangerous situations arose.
As a result, one penalty and two goals from a corner kick were scored, and the match ended with a score of 2:0. The coach expressed regret that they did not win, but noted that there was an opportunity to see players who play less on the field.
For example, Bolotov, a boy from Orenburg, became the team captain today. It was the first game for Koseryk and Davydov, and it was not easy for them.
The coach highlighted that young players showed themselves well and that the club can trust them. When asked about young players getting nervous and making mistakes, Slishkovich said that the first professional game is not easy and that it is natural for every player to make mistakes.
He noted that experienced players should take responsibility for the youth, and it is important to work on mistakes and correct them. According to him, if a young player is trusted, he will develop and achieve good results.
Referring to the fact that the team has scored only one goal since the beginning of the season, the coach stated that this is not a problem, and the main thing is to collect points. He mentioned that in some situations, it is necessary to make proper use of opportunities, and that they need to work on defense.
In Slishkovich's opinion, if the team follows its game plan, there will be results, and there is no problem.
