The exact duration of the contract was not disclosed. According to Transfermarkt, the transfer fee amounted to 35 million euros.
Malik Tiav played for Milan for three years. Before moving to Italy, he played for Schalke 04 in Germany.
During his time at Milan, Tiav appeared in a total of 85 matches, scoring one goal and providing two assists. This week, on August 16, Newcastle will face Aston Villa away in the first round of the Premier League.
