Spartak head coach was about to change
“Spartak” had a poor start this season, so the team’s head coach Deyan Stankovic is under pressure. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It is said that if results do not improve in the near future, the “red-whites” team may part ways with the Serbian coach. According to Metaratings data, the famous Spanish coach Rafael Benitez has been proposed for “Spartak”.
According to the source, 65-year-old Benitez is ready to consider an offer from the Russian Premier League if there is a serious salary and transfer guarantees. Currently, Rafael Benitez is without a club.
During his career, he has managed “Liverpool”, “Real”, “Newcastle”, “Napoli”, and many other teams. Benitez’s extensive experience and achievements could help solve the current problems of the “Spartak” team.
The team management and fans are expecting a decision about the coach’s future soon. If results do not improve, the head coach is highly likely to lose his position.
For this reason, tension has increased inside and around the team. The arrival of a new coach could help improve “Spartak”’s results this season.
So far, no official statements have been made, but the situation is being closely monitored.
