Kanchelskis: Benites can be the coach of Spartak

There have been reports in the press that Rafael Benitez has been proposed as a candidate for the head coach position of the Spartak team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He is a well-known Spanish specialist who won the Champions League with Liverpool in 2005. Benitez has also worked at prestigious clubs such as Real and Napoli.

Former player Andrey Kanchelskis expressed his opinion about the possibility of Rafael Benitez joining Spartak. He emphasized that there is a chance Benitez could manage the team.

According to Kanchelskis, Spartak is well-known in Europe and they have previously invited German and Italian specialists. Therefore, inviting Benitez is also possible.

Currently, Spartak is managed by Dejan Stankovic. However, due to the team's poor start to the new season, the coach's position is at risk.
