Flick selected Eric Garcia for the starting lineup

Barcelona's head coach Hans-Dieter Flick commented on the decision to field Eric Garcia in the starting lineup for the match against Mallorca (3:0). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the first round match of La Liga, the "blaugranas" secured a big victory. Spanish player Garcia played as the right-back and stayed on the field for the entire game.

At the same time, Jules Koundé came on from the bench only in the 77th minute. According to Flick, the main reason was the results observed during the preseason preparation.

Eric performed very well and deserved to play, although Jules also showed a good game. On August 23, the Catalans will take the field in the second round of the Spanish championship against Levante.
