Wood scored the fastest goal for Nottingham Forest
The new season of the English Premier League has started. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Nottingham Forest team hosted Brentford at their home ground. Nottingham players managed to open the scoring in the fifth minute of the match.
This goal was scored by Chris Wood. This goal is the fastest scored by Nottingham Forest in the first round.
Since the club's participation in the English Premier League in 1992, this is the fastest goal. It should be noted that Nottingham has not been a regular participant in the top tier of English football in recent decades.
Over the years, the club has gone through difficult times. However, last season they managed to finish the championship in seventh place.
This is seen as a sign of the team's revival. Nottingham Forest's current performance is positively evaluated by fans and football experts.
The club's future goal is to occupy higher positions and achieve stable results. Additionally, the team is focusing heavily on strengthening the squad and developing young players.
At a time when competition in the English Premier League has intensified, Nottingham Forest's successful participation is of great importance for the team.
