Last Saturday, Zenit's forward Aleksandr Sobolev scored a goal against Spartak's goal, securing a draw for the Saint Petersburg team in the match against his former club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The match ended with a score of 2:2. Renowned former footballer Aleksandr Mostovoy shared his thoughts about this achievement.

According to Mostovoy, the "former players' rule" worked. Despite being at a disadvantage, Sobolev came onto the field and managed to equalize the score.

He was one of the team's best players in the match against Spartak. Sobolev was credited with saving the team from defeat.

According to the expert, Sobolev should not pay attention to the criticism from Spartak fans. This goal was the forward's second of the current season.

Additionally, Sobolev has one assist to his name. Thus, Sobolev achieved an important result in the match against his former team and preserved his team's points.

This will help him further improve his performance this season.
