Amorim criticized the strange goal conceded to Arsenal

Sports02:01, 18-08-2025

Manchester United's head coach Ruben Amorim shared his thoughts following the defeat against Arsenal in the first round of the English Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The match ended with a score of 0:1. The only goal was scored in the 13th minute by Arsenal defender Ricardo Calafiori after a corner kick.

Controversy arose in this situation because the London team's players actively blocked goalkeeper Altay Bayindir. Ruben Amorim emphasized that the defeat was not fair.

According to him, the strange goal resulted from a set-piece, but his own team was unable to score, which led to the loss. On August 24, Manchester United will face Fulham in the second round of the Premier League.
