Former Russian national team and Saint Petersburg's Zenit club footballer Andrey Arshavin shared his thoughts on the current season performances of the capital's Dinamo team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, there are many problems in the team. There are gaps in defense, as well as difficulties in terms of personnel and gameplay.
Arshavin stated that the team previously abandoned Lichka's style, but has not yet adapted to the Rostov style under Karpin's leadership. Last season, the Dinamo team finished fifth in the championship.
With four rounds remaining until the end of the season, head coach Marcel Lichka was dismissed. His position was taken over during the summer break by local specialist Valeriy Karpin.
Under Karpin's leadership, the team has earned five points in five matches in the Russian Premier League and currently occupies the twelfth position. Overall, the Dinamo team is striving to improve its performance this season, and the coaching staff is also working to strengthen the team.
