According to Artur Grigoryants, chairman of the Education and Discipline Committee of the Russian Football Federation, the home fans insulted the guest striker Mirlin Daku with negative words during the match between "Zenit" and "Rubin". This Cup match took place on August 12 at the "Gazprom Arena" stadium in Saint Petersburg.
In the game, the "Zenit" team won convincingly with a score of 3:0. Mateo Cassierra scored twice, and Vadim Shilov scored another goal.
