The expert referee commission of the Russian Football Union evaluated two decisions made by referee Vasiliy Kazartsev during the Premier League match between CSKA and Akron. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The experts' conclusions were published on the official website of the Russian Football Union. The first case concerned the penalty awarded to Akron in the 57th minute, with the commission finding Kazartsev's decision to be incorrect.
According to the commission, the ball touching Bokuev's hand was not a punishable offense. Two players jumped for the ball; the attacker touched the ball first, and then the ball hit the defender's hand.
The hand was in a natural position, and its placement corresponded to the player's movement. Additionally, the distance was small.
In the second case, the experts supported the decision not to award a penalty to CSKA in the 68th minute. It was stated that the ball touching Kurgovoy's hand was not punishable because the hand was low, in a natural position, and close to the body.
The ball was kicked from a short distance. At the end of the match, CSKA defeated Akron 3:1.
These decisions serve to ensure fairness and accuracy in refereeing.
