Brazilian midfielder Jerson Santos will not take the field for Zenit in the upcoming Russian Championship match against Pari NN. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Sport-Express, the player was injured during training. For this reason, he will miss the upcoming game and may also miss the friendly match against Sion during the international break.

This summer, Zenit purchased Jerson from the Brazilian club Flamengo. The 28-year-old midfielder has appeared in six Russian Premier League matches wearing the "blue-white-sky blue" kit but has not distinguished himself with goals or assists.
