Netherlands' club Ajax is selling forward Bryan Brobbey to England's Sunderland club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was reported by the Telegraaf portal. According to the source, Ajax will receive 20 million euros from this transfer, with up to 5 million euros possible as bonuses.
Sunderland must offer the player a contract that suits him. Brobbey did not play in the match against Volendam on Saturday because the coach considered that he could not fully focus on the game.
Brobby could have left Ajax at the beginning of the transfer window, but initially he rejected an offer from Como club, then did not want to move to Rennes and Lille clubs. Also, the Fulham club wanted to take Brobbey only on loan, so this option did not materialize either.
The 23-year-old Brobbey was trained at the Ajax academy. He played 163 matches for the team, scoring 56 goals and providing 24 assists.
For the Netherlands national team, he has participated in 8 matches and scored 1 goal.
