Dutch specialist Erik Ten Hag has been dismissed from his position as head coach of Bayer Leverkusen. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was reported by well-known insider Fabrizio Romano. According to the source, the decision to part ways with the 55-year-old coach was made this morning.

A few minutes ago, news about Ten Hag's dismissal was announced. It is worth recalling that the former Manchester United head coach was appointed as Bayer's head coach last summer and signed a contract valid until 2027.

Under his leadership, the team played only two official matches in the German championship and earned only one point from them. In the next Bundesliga round, Bayer will host Eintracht at home.

This match will take place on September 12, after the international break.
